PARANOID

Finished with Art Theory
‘Cause it wouldn’t help me with my mind
People think I’m insane
Because I am reading all the time

All day long I read the things
But nothing seems to satisfy
Think I’ll lose my mind
Put it on my Curriculum Vitae

Can Theory help me?
Is it for my brain?
Oh Yeah

I need someone to show me
The things in Art that I can’t find
I can’t see the things
That make great Artwork
So I must be blind

When I’m broke and I will sigh
And you will laugh and I will cry
Philosophy is so unreal
Its criticism that I feel

And so as you hear these words
Telling you now all of my state
I say to read less theory
I wish I did but it’s too late
