My work first startedwith an interest in B&W Photography, and now combines a focus on nature, virtual reality and installation-based practice.
This artwork is an experimental impact/photographic work in which the feather goes from a purely natural state, through a series of human interventions, physical changes, and chemical changes, including the final electronic. Technological substitution, in which the relationship between human intervention and nature is experienced and such innate naturality has become indistinct from human intervention. The secrets of feathers lie in the various appearances that are rough or delicate, real or imaginary. This dynamic modification and visual process reflect the codependent relationship between humans and nature.
