Through a continuously experimental process of working across photography, video, sound, sculpture and performance I search to understand my associations with the binaries that exist between the east and the west, and the space that I breathe in-between. In my practice I interplay between ideas of abstraction and encapsulation of cultures.
Drawing inspirations from everyday connections, landscapes, patterns, shadows, lights, I am relearning that life is to be embraced with curiosity and humour. Importantly life is to be lived within the isolating states of loss and uncertainty.
