VCA ART 2022

Olga Dziemidowicz

Graduate Certificate of Visual Art

My art practice, inspired by nature, embraces chance, change, growth, continuous self-improvement and authenticity as a way of being in the world. Working fast, expressively and intuitively enables me to abandon judgement in the creative process, letting freedom and courage take the lead.

Through my intuitive, layered and dynamic paintings, I seek to express joy and gratitude for life, and the creative, healing and universal value of nature. I’m capturing its aliveness and dynamism through expressive paint application and mark-making that facilitate an uninhibited creative immediacy.

I free myself from the boundaries of overthinking through unapologetically using unnaturally bold colours, simplifying nature, and not striving for refinement and perfection. By expressing my freedom and authenticity, I give others permission to do the same.
