I am a painter and production designer focused on creating a sense of somber contemplation. My subject matter is a vehicle for introspection for both myself and the viewer. In this series, I compare masculine and feminine spaces with bodies to explore the intricacies of gendered perception and expression, and the social impact these have. To connect to my figures is to see them as subjects rather than objects.
