I am a multidisciplinary artist working with printmaking, performance and installation. I explore the ways our bodies betray us and the common sense of dissociation between body and self that people experience. 2022 in the 'new era' some say- life after quarantine- and that old adamant phrase rings through my ears 'back in my day' we didn't have Covid-19. in total i spent 300 days in quarantine but there's not much difference between that lifestyle and the one of an artist. I am depicting an artist in captivity. An exotic creature that is viewed from the safety of a platform and behind walls. Artist confined are by their own willingness to discover themselves and what they are recognised for.
