Bachelor of Fine Arts (Drawing & Printmaking)

My paintings focus on the beauty of nature - using vivid colours to enhance our appreciation of flowers.

My process involves layering colours and allowing each layer to dry before adding more. In this work, I have used dripping and splattering techniques to distribute diluted paint over the surface of the canvas using a small paintbrush.

The natural forces of gravity direct the paint droplets that impact the canvas, creating a chaos pattern, which resembles the scattered growth of wildflowers.
