VCA ART 2022

Carrie Ahern

Bachelor of Fine Arts (Painting)

Predominantly working across painting and drawing, I take inspiration from daily encounters and explore repetitive mark-making to transform language into pattern. A Very Strong Sense of Place is a series of paintings that use Morse code as a rule that dictates these patterns and freehand grids as a structure for organisation.
