Clothing reminiscent of and buckling wood. The letters you inscribe into a tree or table. Those shoes you wore when your fringe was really long and swept to the side. Nothingisapplied with precision, but its sentimentality thrusts the surface into a state of insecurity and the colours aren’t sure of each other, yet they stay there in contentment. The materials are cheap and found and applied and removed, the process is emphasised, and the works are aware of the small space they take up and their lack of talent (microphone) appear to have kitsch digitised relevance, dirtied in their approach for meaning. The imagery of commonly used symbols and recognisable materials explores love, sadness, distrust, happiness and play, yet is cliché and childlike in its execution.
